There's always alot of great performances in the works. Here are a few of the current upcoming highlights:
March 10th - I am presenting a program of original music at The Church of the Epiphany in Washington DC. The group will feature my original work entitled 'Great Salt Water - A Musical Telling of the History of the Chesapeake Bay'. The group will feature all acoustic instruments, including guitars, mandolin, violin, and double bass. 12:00 noon Concert (One set).
March 12-15 - The Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra returns to Blues Alley for 4 consecutive nights of music with the legendary jazz organist JOEY DEFRANCESCO. Sets at 8 and 10pm.
April 4 - I will be performing with a group playing the music of Sonny Rollin's classic album 'The Bridge'. The group features Jerry Weldon on saxophone, Chuck Redd on vibraphone, Paul Bratcher on organ, and Andrew Hare on drums. At the Levine School of Music's NW DC campus. 7:00pm (one set).
May 9 - I will be co-presenting a concert of music that follows the development and evolution of the modern day fiddle tune from it's ancient beginnings to modern times. Fiddle player Sarah Foard, percussionist Manny Arciniega and I will be joined by two traditional music dancers as we present music reaching as far back as the violin is known to exist. At the Levine School of Music's Strathmore campus in Bethesda, Maryland. 7:00 show (one set).
